Stage 1 Paint Correction

Also known as a Paint Enhancement or Single Stage Correction

This is the introductory and least aggressive form of paint correction.

Perfect to add some gloss or if you’re selling/returning your car.

Get rid of your dull paint and reveal the gloss

Typically the reason your car’s paint starts to look dull & tired is due to improper maintenance or a few too many visits to the local car wash!

Our stage 1 paint correction will help to bring back that gloss you want. If you’re looking to remove swirl marks or other defects, take a look at our Stage 2 Paint Correction.

Whether you’re keeping or selling the car, we recommend that some form of protection be applied following the stage 1 paint correction. This can be anything from a paint sealant/wax through to a ceramic coating.

Service includes:

  • Detailed exterior wash including paint detox (removal of tar, brake dust and other contaminant build up)

  • Machine polish to enhance gloss and bring back a shine to the paintwork using a combination of non aggressive polishing pads and compounds.

Duration of service - 1-2 days

Can’t get to us?

If you aren’t able to drop your car off, we can arrange for it to be collected by a trusted covered car transport company. Please inform of this in your enquiry.

PLEASE NOTE - All paint correction packages will require a non refundable and non transferable security deposit of 25% of the value of the job. Your booking will not be confirmed until the deposit is received, by bank transfer.

We may require to conduct an inspection wash prior to confirming your appointment, this is to enable us to fully cleanse and inspect the condition of the paintwork, then recommend the best course of action to achieve the desired results. Please see our Mobile Consultation section for more details. The cost of the consultation will be deducted from the cost of the correction you choose.

Paint Correction FAQs

How long do the results last?

This is a “it depends” kind of answer. After the paint is polished, it comes down to how well you maintain the vehicle afterwards. If you take it through a £5 car wash, you can easily get back to square one in a matter of weeks. Which is why we recommend you protect the car with a ceramic coating.

If you properly maintain your vehicle using the proper products and methods, the results will stay for a much longer.

Do you have a shop?

Yes! We offer all our paint correction and ceramic coating services at our shop location in Melbourne, Derbyshire. Depending on the level of work, it can take 2, 3 or even 4+ days to complete the service.

What’s the difference between your Stage 1 and Stage 2 paint correction?

Our Stage 1 paint correction only aims to add gloss, if it deals with any defects (usually does) then thats a bonus. The Stage 2 paint correction removes around 80% of the imperfections in your paint. For most used vehicles, the Stage 2 will likely be the right option.
