Stage 2 Paint Correction

This is by far our most popular paint correction option as it provides the best results & value for money!

Sometimes known as a minor correction or 2 step correction

Perfection is routine

Have you ever looked at your car and wished it looked like the day you bought it? We’re here to give you that new car feel again.

Typically the reason your cars paint starts to look dull & tired is due to improper maintenance or a few too many visits to the local car wash. These cause millions of minute scratches to your paint, which then takes the shine away.

The stage 2 paint correction reverses all that damage and brings back the original condition of the paint.

When performing the Stage 2 paint correction, we strongly recommend that you have the paint protected with a ceramic coating. We would hate for all our work to be undone within a matter of months and your money be wasted.

Here we aim to remove up to 80-90% of light defects from the paintwork, such as swirl marks, marring, holograms, etchings and hazing typically caused by car washes and poor car care.

Ideal for those that have bought a ‘new to you’ car and want to undo any previous damage.

Service includes

  • Detailed exterior wash including paint detox (removal of tar and brake dust build up)

  • 2 stage machine polish using a combination of polishing pads and polishing compounds to remove light defects, leaving improved clarity in the paintwork. This doesn’t focus on any heavier defects such as scratches/scuffs.

Duration of service - 2-3 days

Can’t get to us?

If you aren’t able to drop your car off, we can arrange for it to be collected by a trusted covered car transport company. Please inform of this in your enquiry.

PLEASE NOTE - All paint correction packages will require a non refundable and non transferable security deposit of 25% of the value of the job. Your booking will not be confirmed until the deposit is received, by bank transfer.

We may require to conduct an inspection wash prior to confirming your appointment, this is to enable us to fully cleanse and inspect the condition of the paintwork, then recommend the best course of action to achieve the desired results. Please see our Mobile Consultation section for more details. The cost of the consultation will be deducted from the cost of the correction you choose.

Paint Correction FAQs

How long do the results last?

This is a “it depends” kind of answer. After the paint is polished, it comes down to how well you maintain the vehicle afterwards. If you take it through a £5 car wash, you can easily get back to square one in a matter of weeks. Which is why we recommend you protect the car with a ceramic coating.

If you properly maintain your vehicle using the proper products and methods, the results will stay for a much longer.

Do you have a shop?

Yes! We offer all our paint correction and ceramic coating services at our shop location in Melbourne, Derbyshire. Depending on the level of work, it can take 2, 3 or even 4+ days to complete the service.

What’s the difference between your Stage 1 and Stage 2 paint correction?

Our Stage 1 paint correction only aims to add gloss, if it deals with any defects (usually does) then thats a bonus. The Stage 2 paint correction removes around 80% of the imperfections in your paint. For most used vehicles, the Stage 2 will likely be the right option.
